 DRL Turned off

I called the dealer, they said they can't fit me in for over a week and 'd have to drop my car off Is there any other way to do this? Does anyone who's had it done know how long it takes? I mean can they just plug into the Car under the steering wheel and type in a code? or is there a lot to do.

It should take about 5 minutes to plug in and change the setting. Call your salesman--maybe he can do it without the service department, when he's not busy.

Whoever does it just needs the key, turns it to position II, plugs in the programming device, uses a touchscreen to navigate some menus, changes the setting, unplugs, and you're done.

I just sent an e-mail to the service dept stating that I've seen price quotes ranging from FREE to $45 to $90. I'm curious to see what answer they give me if or when they reply. I'd have my original stealership to it for free, but I have broke off all ties to them b/c they are complete thieves.

maybe one day there will be a standard (like OBDII) when you can make program changes w/o the stealership.
