Auto Headlamps
Hey!
I was just wondering, because i park in my garage, i guess that there isn't enough lighting in there - this causes the auto headlamps to turn on.
They turn on in the garage when i start the car and park the car, but as soon as I drive out, they turn off.
Q: If they frequently turn on and off, don't HID lamps blow out much faster? Does anyone know if how long these last if they're left on Auto (meaning they do their on/warm-up/off thing every time I leave, come home, go under a bridge, or anywhere with a little bit of a roof?

I think any bulb, xenon or not, has a shorter life if you turn it off/on an unusual amount of times.

The garage door opener has a light, which turns off after 5 minutes, is adequate lighting enough for me. Resist the temptation of getting gadgets that are more trouble than they are worth.
