 Bavarian Engine Exchange?

Hello all! I'm a newbie here and a loyal 2002tii owner. I have a line on a very cheap (read:FREE to acquire) E32 750iL with a bum motor. While I know that these cars can be nightmares to own, this one has actually been exquisitely maintained and is quite lovely as E32's go. I'd like to just save the trouble and buy a reman engine for it- but I don't have a lot of experience in these things... so... does anyone have any experience with Bavarian Engine Exchange in California? I spoke with a representative a couple days ago and he seemed pretty helpful, but before I plunk down the large chunk of change required to get a motor, I want to know if these guys are any good.

Does anyone have any first hand (or otherwise) information regarding these guys? I'd love to know! Thanks in advance for you help!

Thanks- I'm seeing some information that doesn't look promising for them!
