need some opinions on some cars.
found a used 2002 bmw 325ci. guys asking 20k for it. it has the following:
BMW 2002 325-- Ci 2dr $20000 firm, VERY LOW MILES 26000, Silver with Grey Leather, Traction, Xenon, Loaded, Garaged,Excellent cond
what do you guys think?
ill need a car soon enough, as current cars dieing.
where should i take it to get the car checked out?

i also saw a convertable, 2004 on sale for not much more than that. My only suspicion on it, was lookin at the rear.
if im not mistaken, the coupes had turn signals white, correct? wouldnt a 2004 convertable have the turn signal,on top in white?
also judging by the rims, it looks more pre 2004. hope someone can clarify this one for me, as i might just get one of these :P

thats the car. | I believe only the convertibles with sport package got the clear turn signals with the orange bulbs inside. That's what I had on my 330cic with sport package. But the one in your picture does have the new taillights with all the little bulbs. That was post 2003 model year, so I think this is a 2004 without the sport package.
EDIT: Also after looking at the rear bumper some more, that's definitely a post 2003 model. The reflectors were different starting after 2003 model year.

No....Very Early '04 Build E46 Coupes and Convertibles had orange turn signals all around that very soon after release were changed to white regardless of sport/non-sport. The white looks so much better IMO though... And yes it is a facelift E46 as the pre-facelit did not have the LED tails/turn-signals. And standard rims on the E46 facelit 325Ci looked much like pre-facelit and were "16 inch compared to the 17" SP 325Ci rims.

Just because you saw a 2004 convertible for $20k doesn't mean the coupe is a bad deal. $20k for the convertible is way under wholesale if it has under 90k miles. The car either has an unclean title or is a lemon law car etc.

yeah, i was weary of the convertible.
i was looking at the coupe.
i want the 335i, but my car will not last until i get enough cash to buy it, so i need a replacement in the very near future.
