 The grass is always greener

Folks,

The Bimmerfest web site was down for a good while today. So I took the opportunity to peek in at ClubLexus to see how things were going.

Needless to say, if you are having issues with your BMW, let not your heart be troubled.

Seems the King of Quality has a tarnished crown.

The last web link is my fav. Guy wished he bought an M3.

Highlights with Web Links
Wind Noise, Cold engine starts, Transmission failures and issues, RX Rattlebox, Sucky Voice Rdcognition, Unable to use Nav while moving,

My gosh, those links are too funny.

$9,000 to repair a Lexus?

I also noticed a lot of issues with tire pressure monitors. Sound familiar?

And I thought Lexus were supposed to be really reliable.

When the lexus site goes down, they'll come over here and find all the threads about lemoned(sp?) bimmers and post them on their site for fun. I wonder what they'll think of the "My 335i blew up" thread?

its just not smart to try to compare Lexus reliability with BMW.

Everyone knows BMW significantly lags Toyota and Honda in reliability. Years of independent, empirical data prove this out.

Stick with comparing performance, Lexus can't hang in that category.
