bmw lists treo as the only compatable with bmw, but i'm wondering if there are any other sprint bluetooth phones that work w/ bmw?
sprint now has a few motorola phones including razr. razr by every other carrier is listed as compatible...not sure if the bmw bluetooth phone list is updated recently.

I started using a Sprint Samsung M500 last week. My car is an '07 328xi and the phone seems to be very compatible with the car.

Compatibility is not across the board. If you get a different sw level (in your mobile) than what BMW tested, or if you have a different version PROGMAN, even a "compatible" mobile mightn't work. The only thing you can do is test the mobile in your car (for full compatibility) and hope for the best.
Sometimes incompatibilities won't reveal themselves for weeks.
I've tried about a dozen or more mobiles in the last few weeks. Some worked fine at first and then - nothing.

Try the Sanyo 8400 from Sprint, It works great for me. It does everthing except let me know that I have missed calls.

tried sanyo katana - i was able to pair it up w/ the car but not able to control the phone. so i'm guessing it's not compatible. i wonder if the new slimmiest phone from sprint (from samsung i believe) will work w/ my car. any other sprint phones out there that work w/ bmw?
