 Bay Area - Which Dealer?

Some of you may remember me. I have a 7 series.

My son is moving to the Bay Area this month from the East Coast and I want to know who you'd recommend as best dealer who will give him a fair price or best price.

I think he'll be getting a 5 series. I told him NOT to drive the 550, since I know he won't want anything else after driving that, but I want him to try the 530 also. He may also be considering the Infiniti M45 – do kids ever listen to their parents? Does anyone drive Infinitis there?

If I'm not posting in the right place, let me know where to post.

You'll find widely differing opinions on the dealers out here, for every positive opinion you'll hear a horror story... I got my two E60's from John Drake at Stevens Creek BMW (www.scbmw.com). There's an Infiniti dealer (Frontier Infiniti) right next door to SCBMW so your son can try the M45 at the same time. If he's still there try John Tran, I bought an I30 and G35 Coupe from John.

I love the service bay at Prestige BMW. I bought my 2003 330i for a good price there because I had scouted out their service bay and was impressed. They have lived up to my expectations (very high). With these luxury marks their can be a wide difference in the level of after sales service.

It such a competetive market I'm sure he can match any deal within $200 through the internet sales departments. Even SF BMW could get close to the price of anybody else.

I was treated really well at Concord BMW.

whatever you do stay away from fremont, they have poor service and pushy sales

i've had a bad experience with concord bmw. A co-worker bought his 745i @ Fremont BMW, and he had a very bad experience. I bought mine @ Stevens Creek BMW (Dave Parker), and it was a good experience.

my 2 cents...
