chaps, i have to leave my 1er in the garage for 3 weeks as i am going away for the holidays.. what do i need to do? do i disconnect the batt and raise my tire pressure? my dealer has not been very helpful in providing me an english owners manual and i find it very difficult to grab a hold of a service person.. any tip on how to store the car would be very much appreciated..

I left my E39 parked in my garage for 6 weeks this summer while on holiday - and all I did was lock the doors and hide the keys.

Also, some fuel conditioner/additive (something like that) and added tire pressure would be good.
Some guys here have gone away for a year or more (in the military) and have had to leave their cars garaged. But I think in many of those cases, they have managed to find someone trustworthy enough to take the cars out for a drive every few weeks.
BTW, where are you going?
