Yes I know that they are out of vogue however I have liked this one since Windows 3.1 but I could not get it to work in XP. It worked O.K.through Windows 2000. If anyone is interested it can be downloaded from http://www.screensavershot.com/automations3.htm It is number 35. I really like it. Download it. Unzip it to the desktop or other convenient place. Rename it ssbmw.scr move it to your windows\system32 directory. Right click on desktop / properties / screensaver and set it up . It will be in the screen saver list

Download - check. Unzip and rename file to ssbmw.scr - check move to \windows\system32 - check right mouse on desktop, properties->screensaver - it ain't there :-(
Also tried right mouse on the .scr file and select INSTALL, and also rebooted. Still no luck.

What worked for me was
With the file on th edesktop, right clicked on it ans clicked on rename
Renamed the file "ssbmw.scr" Without the prenthesis
Opened windows ecplorer and click on my computer them click on windows. then click on system32
Just drag the file to that directory. There should be a number of other files in there all starting with ss*** called screen savers.
Once this is done the name BME should appear on the list when you are on the screen saver tab of the display properties dialog.
Just select bmw and it should work after you set the parameters like you can with other screen savers
I did this a couple of times and it worked. I run XP home and am an administrator.
Hope this helps, if not we can try again
Also you can double click on the Icon on the desktop before you do anything and see it so if you don't like it there is no need ot go further.
