I just had Inspection 1 done at 30K miles under warranty. I was surprised to learn that the air filter is not scheduled to be replaced until Inspection 2 which is at 60K miles (it's in the book). That seems like an awfully long time to go on one air filter.

What do you think? Can it really perform well up to 60K miles?

I've vacuumed it a couple times and it still looks clean. The OEM part is only $22 so I might go ahead and change mine now.
