Navi issues: I wanted Italian food, but ended up at an abandoned house.
By and large I like iDrive/Navi... Could it use a few enhancements? Sure, but I can deal with it. So, I was driving the other night looking to get something to eat and decided to use the POIs in Navi to help. Searched by cuisine, got a long list and proceeded to the first place. Well, I ended up in some parking lot and not a restaurant within sight. Okay, maybe they closed down. I did this 6 times and was never taken to where I wanted to go. A train station, an abandoned house, a parking lot, a park and a bicycle store. Now I have the latest version of the DVD and if I input an address it will take me where I need to go, but the POI function has been totally useless. Today I tried to find a carwash and only 1 out of the 5 places I tried to go was actually a place that washed cars. Anyone else have this problem?

I've seen some pretty interesting parking lots  j/k
Does it work if you put in a particular address ?
does it get you close ? (off by a block or 2)
Sounds like your GPS is "off"
any "new" mods added lately ?

any "new" mods added lately ? | All of the times I've inserted an address, it has been accurate. Even if I'm driving wth the "map, in direction of travel" screen without a destination keyed in it shows the correct streets and cross-streets. It's almost is if the POI addresses are wrong... I mean, they all can't be out of business.
