BWM Scan code reader for newer models
I have a 2004 525 E60 that is Out of warranty and I have an SRS / Seatbelt error.
My usual mechanic can not read the Air bag codes with his scanner. He has been told there is new software on the way but does not have an estimated delivery date.
I am located in CT and like to know if there is a scanner or software or a garage in the
Area that might be able to help. I hate going back to the dealer .

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but I just received the winter 2007 edition of Fast Times, the newsletter from Bavarian Autosport. They have a product called a Fault Code Reader for $149.95 that might help you and be what you are looking for. They reference the following website for more information:
