I must say that my local MB dealer has better customer service than my BMW dealer.
The MB dealer offers MB loaners, and free car washes. They also have a customer lounge with sodas, water, and usually some kind of fruit and cookies/brownies/cake.
My BMW dealer has a customer lounge with a TV, and vending machines. Yippie if I am parched I have to spend more money for a soda from the dealer I just spent $$$ with for a new car. I am surprised they have not installed the TV like the airports used to have. You know the ones that allowed you to insert a couple quarters for 15 minutes of TV.
Anyway, what additonal services or ammenities does your dealer offer. Am I out of line to expect more from an upscale dealer then from a Yugo dealer.
Sheesh even Jon's dealership offers a free detail after 1 year!

Honestly, I don't want them washing my car. Especially if it means just running it through a mini-automated wash (which is what most dealers that give "free" washes do).
But I would prefer BMW loaners. As it is, I get an Enterprise rental, usually some low-end Japanese econo-box.

My dealer offers BMW loaners and free washes whenever you're in for service. However, I declined the wash, as I heard horror stories about scratches and swirls after washes at my dealer. (John Roberts in Austin)
Also, you have to get there early if you want a BMW loaner. Once they're gone, you get a generic loaner from their in-house Advantage rent-a-car

The BMW Store in Cincinnati offers 'free' (your expected to tip the guys), car washes every Sat. Often there are 20 or so cars lined up! All washes are by hand and it can take anywhere from 30min to an hour to get in and out. Donuts and coffee are available if your early enough.
Great customer service, good time to hang and chat with other owners etc. I go every Sat weather and time permitting.

Didn't get a car wash but did get a 2001 330 ci step as a loner..
I believe all my dealers loner cars are bmw's. (Gearhart BMW NJ)

Mine offers BMW loaners and car detailing.
Just started refusing the detailing as the only person I trusted to do it moved to a local Porsche dealership to sell cars.
