 Car Salesmen a dying breed?

Makes perfect sense and a reason salesmen are going to be fewer and fewer.

You just need to read the article to understand why they will be gone. Mr Toyota doesn't care if he sells a Yaris because he makes no money from it. Is that working in the customer's best interest?
They have been sticking it to the people for years. Now informed consumers can stick it back.
I will never go to a "brick and mortar" store to purchase a vehicle again. Only online.
I believe that the dealerships who concentrate on the internet sales will do well.

I bought my Porsche two months ago, the salesman told me he had been there 8 years. Called back last week to check on something and got the "he's no longer with us" message. Tough business to be in these days no doubt.

I always get the message when I call the dealership. Whenever I get comfortable and steady business with one guy he either gets fired or leaves.
