battery replacement by bmw roadside assistance

so over on mb, the mbusa roadside assistance is for the life of the vehicle, and any field replacement parts - labor is free - you just pay for the parts.

my battery croaked on my mb and they sent over a technician who tested the load and declared it dead, replaced it on the spot, reset steering angle sensor and radio code, and I just had to pay $118 for the battery. Same service if I walk into the dealer is $220 including labor.

is this the same with bmw (my roadside assistance is still in effect).

BMW 'roadside assistance' is a tow to a local dealer. Maybe a gallon of gas or a jumpstart. Definitely not a battery. They're contracted out (just like AAA) and I wouldn't want them getting in that deep anyway.
