Hey everyone, I'm sure some of you have seen my posts on my car and the money shift issue. So now that I'm attempting to rectify the situation I was hoping some members could point out a good and relatively cheap mechanic and technician to replace the valves in my engine. BMW dealership quoted me $1700 just to take the engine apart and see whats wrong with it, I know the 2 and 6 cylinders have little to no compression. Any help is greatly appreciated. Even though the thread title says it, I'm looking for a place on Long Island, NY.
