Anyone know why they use the English term 'Night Vision' instead of the Swedish translation?

Manufacturers using English terms for particular technologies or product features available in international markets has been a common practice for decades already. As such a term is often also a trademark, translating it to dozens of languages would probably be too cumbersome.
This doesn't apply for car makers only - it would look rather odd if TV makers would start using Japanese or Korean terms i.e. for their picture optimization features.
