BMW Technology
I need some advice on the following BMW Technologies:
- Rear Climate Control - Other than a extra thermostat and controller, does it actually improve airflow to the rear passengers. The dealer said this package added extra fans to help pull air to the back.
- Active seats - Can you actually feel the seat shifting or is this a gimmick option
- Ventilated seats - Dealer says he can't feel anything from these seats and considers them a gimmick

You would be better served by posting on the correct board for whatever car you are considering (which you do not mention).

Quote: | You would be better served by posting on the correct board for whatever car you are considering (which you do not mention). | Thanks for trying to offer advice, but I did double post in the X5 forum and because these questions are focused on BMW technologies, I figured there would be user feedback from owners of 5er, 7er, etc. Fortunately, someone did offer ventilated seat advice based on their 5er experience.
And with regards to the rear climate package, I found out through Edmunds.com (yeah, of all the places I searched...) that the package adds an additional blower and B pillar vents.
