 Window Tint

I want to get the windows tinted so any one who might know the in's and outs, what is the usual price, colors available and what might match up well with my drk. green metallic paint. Quality is the number one consideration, as well as what is the legal percentage that New York State allows. Thanks for your imput.

I think I've read that the legal limit in NYState is 35%, which I actually think would look good on Dark Green, too dark looks like $hit IMHO. I've heard of jobs anywhere from $100-$300, depends on who you get it from.

You mean you would consider some color other than gray/smoke?

There are plenty of threads that have discussed tints. If you do a search and after you have read through a few of them you should be able to narrow down the selection to the ones to want to consider. It would then be easier to give you advise on the type and/or brand of tint you are considering.

Here is a site I found that has a state law chart

If youre looking for quality, I'd recommend ceramic tint like Huber Optik. We have this on our cars and it's quite nice and doesnt interfere with navi signals either.

And while the url above is nice, this one (http://www.tintcenter.com/laws/NY/) is easier to read.
