Sup fellow Bimmer drivers. I was looking at this site before i purchased my 2006 325 and it had a wealth of information. Thanks to all for their useful posts. Although I am new to this forum but I am not new to BMW. I had an 01 330i sport pack/prem package , which was totaled in a car accident last Nov. After looking around for 2 months the decision of course settled on BMW as to me they are great cars with more enthused engineering for the driver than any other car brand out there. It was a hard decision to pass up the 330 but i managed to get a fully loaded 325 with sport. prem. cold weather, leather sat. radio for a little under 31k with a notch over 11,000 miles. It was a BMW demo car.

So far the car has been fantastic except for the wiper fluid/headlight washers are not working consistently. Took it in yesterday and the dealer "fixed it", worked OK after a few hrs and then later at night, not working again. I checked for dirt, leaks and had plenty of fluid with de-icer up to -20 in there, I do live in Chicago so weather has been extremely cooold Not sure if its frozen but its back at BMW today and still waiting.

Look forward to this forum...

Welcome to the fest! The fix for your wiper problem is simple - move to the south

Thanks for the greetings...well I heard back from BMW today and they had to change the modulator and the motor for the HID cleaner which calls for a car reprogam as well..hmm,, does not make sense to me at all and I questioned it and they said its best to do this to ensure all operation are working to spec since they had to order parts and replace the ones the car had. Car is still going under reprogram since last night and see how it goes. Not sure how anyone can go from a frozen nozzle to a reprogram . I have not muscled them yet but waiting to see what happens today. Please keep in mind, this car was just bought on Saturday!!!! Have not even had the chance to enjoy the car yet . Although its under warranty, who really wants to keep going in for service.

Symapthies or suggestions are welcome!!

Peace!

Romster
