I ordered my car yesterday and went with Monaco, poplar, terra.
Did I make a mistake? Does the terra look better with burl and is it too late to change?
Also, I have no idea what the ceiling and carpet are matched too. I think they are grey but don't remember.
This is driving me crazy. Help!

Were you at Perillo in Chicago? They've got a 330i in Monaco/Terra/Poplar. If so, I probably saw you there yesterday.
As a graphic designer, choosing color combinations is not only a big part of my job but one of my passions and to be honest, I felt the poplar ruined the Terra.
I have high hopes for Terra and with the aluminum I think it will look not only sharp, but beautiful with Monaco or jet black. Even with the walnut, it will look good.
I would change my order if I were you.
P.S. The carpets are black and the roofliner is grey...hardly an annoyance in my opinion. I love the contrast with the black...if only we could get a black headliner!

I was actually at Knauz in Lake Bluff yesterday. I had to order the car. The salesman kept pushing me toward poplar saying the burl would look too dark. He didn't have the burl in any cars to see the difference. So, I thought that poplar looked OK with terra but I have not been able to see one with burl.
Do you know if the dealer will let me change the colors at this point? I only placed the order yesterday.
Do you know of any dealer that has terra with burl out to look at in Chicagoland? I have looked at all of the sites and none seem to note the trim.
Thanks a ton for your feedback. This is a huge purchase for me.

I have terra with burl walnut,and it is gorgeous,it makes this car look much more expensive looking,i would highly reccomend it.I also think alluminium would look great.
get the terra,it's the best looking leather,bmw has.

I think the terra looks great but the grey ceiling ruins it.

I had high hopes for the terra too, and it does look good, but in my opinion, the grey headliner does ruin it. Just too many colors going on there. BMW builds undoubtedly some of the finest mechanics available, but they could use some help with their colors.
