Last week my nav system (2006 325i) got stuck in Niagara Falls. That is, no matter where I would go, it always placed the car in Niagara Falls, even when I was 80 miles away from there. Tried the reset routine without success. Took it into the dealership and after a 5 hour software update ( I now have RDS!!) the nav system is working just fine. I was told that they had seen this problem once before and it was on a 7 series BMW. They also said that the new update should prevent this from happening again, let's hope so, because I have learned to completly depend on the nav system. To me it was well worth the money.  |

Looks like the car couldn't get Niagara falls off its mind. Or maybe it was a hint to you about where the car wished it was at

So you have RDS with nav? Do you have the work order with what software was updated? I think this is the first I have heard of the US RDS on a Nav working.... When was your car built and have you checked to see if it will play MP3's?
