I'm considering the purchase of a set of winter tires for my new E90, but had a few questions. Any comments would be appreciated.
- With the understanding that I won't have a spare, do I need to use runflats? - If I choose to not use runflats, will my check control constantly warn me of a problem? - Can I install the standard tires on the stock wheels, and then swap back for the spring? - Can a typicall installer handle this type of swap (both now and in the spring) or should I work this through my dealer? - Should I expect to pay anything additional because I have runflats?
Lastly.. I am considering the Bridgestone REVO 1 and the Michelin Pilot Alpin PA2, or the Bridgestone LM22 if I go with a set of runflats. Any other suggestions? I heard a mention of a Pirelli Nero Runflat model, but was unable to find these at TR...
Thx in advance.
