So, I've got an E90 325i (PP, CWP, xenons, manual, non-sport due to winter) on order, but I'm wondering if a 330i wouldn't be a better choice. My last car was a C5 Corvette, and I realize neither is going to provide that kind of thrust--and I was pretty satisfied with the 325i I test drove--but it's the little things, in addition to the 40hp, driving me that way somewhat. The caveat is that I haven't test-driven a 330. The standard 330 wheels are 17'ers, yes? Seems nicer than stock 325i wheels. And I do like the silly chrome accents. I hear the brakes are upgraded, though nothing to that effect appears in the literature. Not sure if the stereo should be a factor. Is there anything else that factors in here? Can anyone convince me to throw another $5k to the wind or not?  Depreciation issues either way? |

stock 18'ers, logic 7 sound system is great, theres discussions pages and pages long why the 330 is a better investment than the 325

You can see from below where my bias is - it was an easy decision for me - didn't even consider the 325 - I was not prepared to compromise on this one - done it before and always regret it

I have a 330i and never wonder if I made the wrong decision. More equipment and more power. It seems to me that if you are already questioning your choice, that you will question it even more so after driving off the lot in a "lessor" 325i.
Just get the 330i.

Only advice that I will offer, if you are satisfied with the 325 and haven't test driven a 330 yet, don't. Once you test drive the 330, you'll have to have it. But if you don't, you'll be perfectly happy with the 325.

If you are already having second thoughts now. I would change to a 330i. I look at my car as something I am gonna keep for atleast 6-8 years and if I am buying one new, I don't make any compromises. You do not want to regret later.
