I'm really dissappointed that PDC/Front is not being offered for US cars . ALso the UGLY yellow "wishbones" on the headlights are absent on the European Cars. WTF?
The little differences irritate me
I love Bimmers, especiallythese new ones. IWILL purchase in the next year, how can I not when it starts at 26,900 and is tax free @ military sales?

Tne amber stripes are required by US law. As for front PDC it's probably a cost issue.

Supposedly they reduce accidents. Probably more historical than safety based.

Used for parking when on the street, although most places in US park into the kerb at an angle so the use is limited. Over here in the UK most of our street parking is one behind another so make much greater use in small spaces.
