Has anyone else had a problem with their car coming back from service with more miles tacked on?
I have this sick feeling that Beverly Hills BMW service either used my car as a shuttle, loaner, or for customer test drives next door in sales. There were ten more miles on my car than from when I dropped it off. Keep in mind, that only a change of oil and wiper blades were done. So there was absolutely no reason why my car would've had to be driven for 10 miles whilst in service. I don't want some idiot driving nutso in my car. I take care of my baby.
I went back and told them, but they just shrugged. What are my options?
(Sorry if this is a duplicate thread. For some reason the first one didn't post).

i've seen it happen, also seen it use for technician food run. i would complaint to the general mgr, these things needs to be corrected. but also maybe they did a test drive, but 10 miles is certainly alot of miles. good luck!

Some dealerships have very limited spaces to park customer vehicles and need to store a car off-site. If they needed to move your car 2 or 3 times during the day due to workflow (a busy day perhaps) it is entirely possible that they may have moved the car far enough for it to register 10 miles.
And if I'm not mistaken, Beverly Hills BMW has a very limited parking ground and possibly does use an offsite parking lot. If you leave the car there, and if they had to move the car a few times to rotate the cars in and out, it's entirely possible that almost all of those miles came from shuffling cars. If you want to make sure they don't put on too many miles on your car, make an appointment and sit there and WAIT for them to complete the job, especially for such a minor job like oil and wipers.

It is understandable that they do have to move cars around due to limited spots. But you really have to think about how much driving 10 miles actually is to understand where I'm coming from.

10 miles is a lot. So they just shrugged it off? Will giving BMW a call help?
