E90 Glove Compartment Flashlight Socket PN

When I took delivery of my 2006 330i in mid-September, I discovered the socket for the flashlight in the glove compartment was missing and instead there was simply a flat plate used to hold the wire harness/connector for the actual socket. I asked the parts counter at the center for the socket but it was not listed in the database at that time.

I called back today and that part was now available and in-stock for $17.00.

The part number is: 61-13-8-352-336.

Installing it takes about 15 seconds to swap it with the plate. After that, the handy flashlight plugs in nice 'n snug.

The only reason I first knew it was missing was because it is mentioned in the manual on about page 78.

Did you pay for it? They should have put that in for free!
