Just wondering if the heated seats selected as a stand alone option also heat your lower back or not. That's the breaking point for me. Butt heater, not worth it alone, but lower back, woohoo!! Nice muscle relaxer after the gym!

so does my mbz c230k and my wife's A4. Works wonders for the lower back. I'd be surprised if the 3 doesn't.

Both the E46 and E90 have both surfaces heated.
With iDrive, you can even adjust the heat distribution between butt and back...

Yes, the back is heated ... and so are the side bolsters.
