What the blazes??

What is the deal with BMW NA, BMW AG etc....first, the US market is treated like a bastard child for years regarding BMW Individual.....but, when we get finally get a chance at BMW Individual, it is with very limited choices and only for the 7 Series....

Next, BMW is going to debut an Alpina B7 at the upcoming Chicago Auto Show....

It seems like all of the lavish attention is being heaped on a car that attracts a client that is usually over 70....I wonder how many 65 or 70 year old drivers are going to shell out over $115K for a 7 Series??? All of the 7 Series drivers I see around town are, ahh, a little long in the tooth to be screaming around in an Alpina..

Come on BMW NA, give us Alpina 3's, 5's and 6's....And BMW NA, give us BMW Individual for 3's, 5's and 6's.....there are a LOT of other BMW's sold than just 7er's!!!

There's plenty of people here in Southern California who aren't long in the tooth who do spring for a 7. My guess is they'll be interested in the B7 too.

Having said that I agree with you. BMW NA would rather not be bothered but I think they are selling themselves and us short.

I think they're introducing it with their top line car like everything else they do before they try the other cars. Next will come the 6 and 5 and finally the 3.

And by the way, I'm nowhere near my 70's and would love to scream around in a B7. It's not just for old men.
