  Which oil do I buy?

 Which oil do I buy?



Which oil brand do I buy? Dealer said 530 synthetic. What does that mean? Recommendations?

Sorry, I know this has been discussed in multiple threads, but I really don't have the time to search through the threads; it's almost lunch, and I need to leave soon to go buy some oil for my car. The oil check reads as +1 qts.

Only this version of Mobil meets current BMW specs. The European Car Formula version, 0W-40.

i dont know, why i should even bother getting my oil, unless mine eats it up. Id let the dealer top it off at the next oil change!

Correct. Actually it's all written in the manual that is provided with the car.
