September Software Upgrade Questions

Does anyone have a summary of what's in there?

Is it only for cars with Nav?

I'm taking mine into the dealer for "Car & Key Memory" next Friday, and I asked the Service guy about it on the phone, and he'd never heard of a September Upgrade.

Same with me as per earlier post.
My dealer, Open Road BMW in Newmarket, has not heard of any September Software Update.
I want to E Mail the Service Manager to confirm this.
What is the correct name for the September Update?
Does it apply to E90 330 with i Drive?
I have seen "CIP 19.01" posted in this forum.
If this is correct, what does CIP stand for?
