After seeing posts on this issue starting to pop up on various message boards now that E90 owners are starting to rack up miles, I'm wondering how owners of the E90 feel about the squeak and rattle issue. Every BMW I've owned has been rock solid -- no unwanted noises ever, even after 50K miles. It was one of my favorite BMW qualities. Even if things did go wrong with parts such as window motor regulators, the cars always felt as solid and noise-free as the day I drove them home from the dealer (even my 1978 733i never made an unwanted noise at 110K miles -- although it spent many days out of service for other issues).
Perhaps I have just been lucky with my prior cars, but I wanted to get an idea of how current owners feel about this issue. For me personally, squeaks and rattles are a pet peeve -- I'd rather have the power windows go out 3 times than have a constant rattle.

Some of these issues may just be "1st year" issues that will be addressed with TSBs, but any owner feedback would be appreciated. My current MB rattles like 10 year old Land Rover over rough pavement despite only 20K miles, and I don't want to go down that road again.
