painting the roof rails on 325i

I was hoping this would change for September 2005 production but I'm not expecting it...

Running just out of sight from the profile, parallel to the tops of the doors, from the windshield to the back glass are two thin black roof rails about 1.5cm wide. They are flush with the hood, they don't stick out. They are black regardless of the color of your car. They are for attaching ski racks or luggage racks.

On Audi A4's before the 2004.5, the rocker panels or lowers used to be grey plastic. I know people used to paint them.

Can you get the dealer to paint your roof rails? I'm never going to use them so I won't scratch the paint off. But will it stick?

Im pretty sure they can, but why not directly deal with the body the dealer deals with, save you some middleman profit?

post some b4 and after photos, will you. I know NT body in alexandria, does alot of HBL
work, yu may find few others around that are good also.
