Good price?
Hi! I was planning to do an ED, but my wife received a quote for $41,350 + sales tax for the following car:
2006 330i
Metallic Paint
Premium Package
Cold Weather Package
STEPTRONIC Auto
Navigation
Satellite Radio Prep
I think the invoice price is $40,350 according to Edmunds (does anyone know if that price applies to pre- or post-Sep production cars?). Is this a good price?
Also, I was wondering about the Park Distance Control option; is that actually very useful? And does it only sense objects at the back or at the front too?

It would be helpful if you can quote the full sticker, the invoice, and the deal they are offering you. It sounds like you are getting it for invoice which is a VERY good deal....no one has posted that kind of a deal yet.
PDC is rear only...which considering the damage you could do to the FRONT of this very low car (curbs, concrete parking lot wheel-stoppers, etc) it's kind of worthless. I think this option is more useful in Europe or cities where street parking is super tight.

I couldn't live without rear PDC these days but I don't want the little circles in my front bumber so I stuck with the standard SE spec (UK) which has rear only. Front is an option here.

Hi! The sticker price is like $44,020 (MSRP), I think. The price I was quoted is exactly $1000 over invoice plus tax. The only problem is that they do not have the exact interior color I want, but it's a color I can live with. They do have all the options and exterior color that I want though, so that's the good news. So, you'd consider this a good price then?

Yes...I think $1000 over invoice is an excellent deal for a car off the lot.....or really for any E90 right now.
