I love the terra interior and for some reason hate the aluminum trim. A lot of people like the aluminum trim but I, for whatever reason, just don't like it. So while I was able to view the terra interior at the dealership it was only in jet black cars and with aluminum trim. I've seen the pics from the "interior thread" here, but wanted to know from people, what do they think is the best combo. I don't want a black car. I've done the black paint thing and I won't do it again.
So with this in mind which trim/exterior paint combo looks best with the terra interior?
I am seriously thinking about an Artic/terra/Burl combo. Thoughts?

and I think itīs one of the nicest terra combos next to AW/terra/Alu or tiAg/terra/Alu
Whatever you do, dont combine terra with poplar. It doesnīt look good IMHO.
Personally Iīm also not a fan of Arctic (although many just love it). But if youīll go for Artic then consider lemon, grey, black or beige, but not terra. Arctic and terra donīt match (again IMHO)

If I were ordering today, it would be Barrique Red, Terra, Poplar (maybe Burl).

I still like my SG/Terra/Poplar. To my eyes, it's the best combo I've seen so far.

I guess I'm biased, but I love my Sparkling Graphite w/ terra. I have the burl walnut trim, and in my opinion it looks best with terra of the three trims.
I know you said you don't want black, but my second choice would have been Saphire Black w/ terra and burl.

Terra/Burl is the choice. I actually like the poplar wood better independently, but for some reason the color doesn't seem to mesh as well with the earth tones in the terra leather. Terra is such a domiant color, I think the wood has to be a subtle complement without making much of a statement. Poplar is beautiful, but a bit too vibrant and seems to have some yellow based hues that don't quite synchronize with the red tones in the terra. I don't think it clashes (like my administrative assistant's bright yellow vette with bright red leather -- I call it the McVette), but burl seems a better fit.
My 1st choice is SG/terra/burl, second is jet black with that interior.
Just my opinion. I actually think the best match for terra is the aluminum, but I'm not a fan of the aluminum interior -- a bit too cold for my tastes.
BTW -- big thumbs up for BMW for FINALLY offering the range of color choices with whatever interior. It is so nice to be able to pick what you want without having BMW say "sorry, you can't have that combo unless you want to fork over the dough for a special order."
