Is ther anyway that you can get the sport seats and sport steering wheel and sports wheels without the sport suspension? I think I'm ready for a more "luxury" drive without a tighter suspension but don't want to give up the other goodies.
Possible?

I think this has been discussed before and the consensus has been that BMW will not accomodate this request. You might try doing a search and seeing if you find anything.
Having said that, I would encourage you to go ahead with the sports package. It is not an overly harsh drive at all. On the contrary, I found the ride to be very comfortable, while still giving you accurate road feedback.
I was in the same boat as you and, on the advice of another poster, decided to go ahead with the sports pkg. I'm glad I did now.
Hope this helps.

Well on the Price List, those items are definitely not listed as being available as individual options.
Closet thing would be getting an Xi sport package, but you'd have to be willing to get an AWD and a completely different AWD suspension.

Possible? | You might try running the options codes for sports seats and steering wheel through your dealer, and seeing what comes up. I wouldn't hold your breath, mind:
Wheel: 710 (M), 255 (non M) Seats: 481

I dont know how yu can have the goodies you what w/o the sport suspension, but heres my experience maybe it can help.
I didnt get a SP, due to availabilty wasnt there b4 sept price increase, plus i too wanted a smoothier ride.
after, i week i was thking sp, even thought of selling and getting another w/ sp.
i decide just to upgrade my wheels to OEL style 161 and pilot sports A/S (best reviews) its about a 2k venture. I knowwww, SP is $1600, alot more money spent.
Anyhow, its all evens out for me, bcoz i like softer ride, but the Sport Seats isnt a big deal anyhow after Ive learned that the SP seat leatherette are worning out quicker than normal. (see the thread, "im not happy" at E90 2006+)
having said my buying experience, maybe it can help yu decide which way to go.

Just order the sport package and get all the goodies you want. Then you can order the non sport springs from BMW and replace them. or you can trade your sport springs with someone else's non sport. Im sure there is someone online that would trade springs.
Just a thought
