thinking about a 325xi for my wife. she is less than 5 feet and the cupholder on the other side of the console is a concern. how is everyone getting along with the in-dash cupholders? non nav models have a nice little whole that looks like could be retro-fitted for a holder. anyone tried?

I haven't gotten my car yet, it's due in a few weeks, so I'm unsure. I believe it does.

In all my years of owning cars, a cupholder design and/or location has never even entered into the equation. I just don't get it........
If I was buying a cupholder, not a car, my answer would probably be different.

Do a search. Plenty of other options than the integrated ones. Cupholders have been discussed adnauseum in other forums.
