I just got my 330i last week and noticed the flashlight was missing. The dealer gave me one but when I went to plug it in I noticed the socket is actually a flat plate only used to hold the wires on the back side-- there is no socket.
I searched the forums here and on the web and can't find a socket part number or supplier. The BMW center (Bellevue WA) does not show that as a part they can get for me either.
Does anyone know where I could find the glove compartment flashlight socket for the E90?

Its on the left most top side of the glove box. I don't have my car, otherwise i would have taken a pic to show the exact location.

I know where it's at- but mine is a flat plate with no socket. I pulled it off to find the two wires attached to the back but they are only held there for mechanical reasons- nothing electrical exists. Its a flat, black piece of plastic that clips to the glove compartment wall.
