 Any special products for Washing?

Hello Guys,

Have my new 2006 330i (manual) and its time for its first wash. Can I use Armor All car wash (its blue) with a good chenile glove, or is there anything special that is best to use on the car? I noticed that the wheels now have some break dust - any special care for the wheels

I washed mine today for the first time. For the wheels, I used a hose and a wheel brush I bought at Target or somewhere with no chemicals. I think the wheel cleaner chemicals are good when you've got months of build-up.

I did a pretty fancy wash, though, with clay (check my thread for pics). It worked great, but I imagine the Armor All will work fine for a basic wash.

Geez, to save time and avoid another overdone thread, go check the DETAILING FORUM here at bimmerfest. You'll find lists of every kind of recommended car wash, wash mit, drying towel, wax, synthetic wax, etc etc etc.

Go spend a few hours reading and you'll be a car wash guru :-)
