Which Tires Are Coming With 325i with Sport Package?
I have a 325i with the Sport Package on order for ED. Was wondering which tire people have been getting with this combo.

Was wondering which tire people have been getting with this combo. | Bridgestone Potenza's runflats on my ED 325i SP. Awaiting redelviery! A very good tire, I was surprised when I looked down and saw them, I was expecting continental or crappy pirelli's. If you plug the 2006 into, tirerack.com they come up just non-runflat. Best of luck on your trip!
The Potenza RE050A is a Max Performance Summer tire designed to complement the performance of sports cars, sports coupes and sport sedans. While the Potenza RE050 is used as Original Equipment on the supercharged Mercedes-Benz S55 AMG sedan, a Potenza RE050A Scuderia version is used on the 12-cylinder Enzo Ferrari supercar, and a Run Flat version is used on the BMW Z4 sports cars and 5-Series sedans. The Potenza RE050A was developed to provide good traction along with responsive and predictable dry and wet road handling. It is not intended to be driven in the snow.
On the outside, the Potenza RE050A features a high grip tread compound molded into an asymmetric tread design. A continuous center rib, large tread blocks and stable shoulder elements provide responsive handling, high-speed stability and traction on dry roads, while circumferential and lateral tread grooves are aimed to pump water out from under the tire's footprint to minimize hydroplaning and aid wet traction. Internally, the Potenza RE050A features twin steel belts reinforced by spiral-wrapped nylon to stabilize the tread area and enhance handling, high speed capability and ride quality while minimizing weight. The fabric cord body and hard rubber sidewall filler help blend uniform ride quality with steering response and lateral stability.
Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires feature black sidewall styling with subtle black letters. They are V-, Z-, W- and Y-speed rated depending upon their application and available in selected 50-, 45-, 40-, and 35-series sizes for 16" through 19" wheel diameters.

I know that wait for redelivery has to be the hardest part of the ED process.
Hopefully I'll get the Potenzas too!

I ve talked to tire dealers and seems like these tires are known to be OEM for the cooper mini's with some good review and just now coming out with standard full sizes.
Ive price them both as run flat, and pirelli euforia are about a little less. The availabilty for Pirellis for both front and rear seem to be ok, unlike bridgestone potenza 255/40/27 rears which not available.
I have observed them both side by side on the dealer lot, both potenzas and euforia, and euforia seem to bulge nicer at the back, giving the E90s 325 SP a much racier stance. too bad this tire is not been reviewed yet on a standard full size car.
Im getting a set for my 161s OEM, and seems like pirelli maybe the way i may go, for potenzas SP rear tires are not available at costco, nor tire rack or my local tire dealers.
If anyone know where they are locally in Northern VA pls let me know!
