More on seatbelt pillar clicking, plus...owl sounds?

How would you describe the sound---loud or muted?
Is it prompted by bumps or twisting, or is it intermittent?

And has anyone heard it from the OTHER side?

My car is geenerally xclnt. It has 500 miles, now...but there is one
other strange sound. It's a squeak out of the rear (probably a wheel).
It sounds almost like an owl hooting, and increases with wheel rpm
until 25mph, where it disappears.

The "owl hooting" could be rear tire noise, for whatever reason some tires will show a humming noise that can vary with speed, temp and road conditions. You can try playing with the tire pressures a little bit, the noise may eventually go away once the tires wear in some more.

I'm thinking it's a deficient bearing---definitely metal on metal

Maybe the parking brake needs adjusting?
