Seatbelt warning - how to disable?

Hello all.
Picked up my wife's 325i last night. After owning 2002 320i for three years this 2006 baby blows me away on many different levels.
One thing that bugs the crap out of me is the seatbelt warning chimes. Not that I have a habit of driving around w/out my seatbelt on, but sometimes I don't slip it on when I drive to pick up my mail and such. Went through the computer menus, and couldn't find anything that would reference this feature. Is it possible to disable it without going to a dealer?
Another one is lowering of the side view mirrors when on reverse - I'd rather have the mirrors in their usual position when I back up.

Thank you for your input.

It canīt be turned off. If it could the car would get lower crash test ratings (at least in the Euro/Ncap crash test)(Iīm not kidding). Itīll stop ringing after 90 seconds though.

But a thought on the subject:
Most bad accidents happen within 10miles from home. You never know when that 18wheeler is going to hit you. It might just as well be on the way to the mailbox. So just wear the thing all the time and the chime wonīt bother you.

I think the dealer won't disable for you because of legal issues.

Push the mirror switch to the passenager side and it won't lower automatically.

I don't think the dealer even can disable it for you....
