I recently heard from a BMW employee that the dealership he works at is dropping dinan an bringing in Alpina to do performance. What I got from this person was that the dealership doesnt really profit from dinan because it is technically not being purchased from BMW whereas Aplina is, and that by bringing in Alpina the cars can be finnished quicker because the part wont have to be ordered and will be in house. Has anyone elce heard this rumor?

Alpina is an aftermarket outfit just like Dinan, they`re *not* cheap, and they`re based in Germany, so I really don`t see an advantage....
