Two questions: time from factory to US and iPod

I've done my best to find answers to these two frequently talked about topics, but there are so many posts I couldn't find specific answers (so please no flaming... )

[1] My car is scheduled to be completed on September 15th. How long should I expect it take to arrive at my dealership in Chicago, IL, USA?

[2] Why is it that if the new 3-series are BMWs newest ground-up redesign, there is no iPod integration (other than the AUX jack in the armrest) given BMW's previous claim as the first manufacturer to fully integrate iPods?

Thanks!

Why are your questions numbered one and three?

Anyway....

BMW has developed iPod integration for iBus vehicles and itīs a so-so integration (Densionīs ice:Link is much better in terms of integration). They donīt have an option available for cars with MOST, although that should change by year end. There is an iPod integration kit listed in the German catalog, but it specifies that the car cannot have Bluetooth or Nav. That rules out most cars here anyway. Iīm waiting for clarification from BMW on why this is even listed in the German catalog and what it portends.

Keep in mind, the 3er does come with the aux input standard.

My E90 just arrived at the dealership yesterday after 4 weeks on order... No complaints here about that ...

Check out the Icelink if you are looking for an iPod integration. The BMW integration does not allow you to have function from the iPod itself. This can be a hassle sometimes... the Icelink allows you to use your controls on your iPod as well as through your steering wheel controls....

Dension does not support E90s (i.e. MOST) at this time.

Thanks, all, for your comments. I edited my original post to make my questions 1 & 2 (rather than 1 & 3). I guess finding out that my car is in the paintshop today got my mind racing around in anticipatory delerium...
