Is it possible? Can I even order one? If so, would a mirror with auto dimming, compass, and garage opener built in even work in my car....E90 ??

You can order the BMW auto dim mirror with compass, and 3-button garage (home) link thingy. I think it's $399 from parts department of your dealer or alternatively there are other places you can order and have it installed by your dealer or try to install yourself. The last few I remember are:

Thanks! I have been spoiled by the auto dim feature in my e46. Now I want it in my e90. I will be ordering it. I wonder, was this something I could have ordered by itself?

No luck yet...I can't find the e90 mirror anywhere, I guess I will try the dealer on Monday.

It's part of the premium package. As are the side auto-dim mirrors.
