 Does 14C already too low for performance tires?



The temperature was ~14C last night at 7:30pm. I went out with DSC off as usual. I had to counter-steer to prevent a spin on the 1st left turn to a major road...

Yes you have less traction.

It interrupts too early for quick turn. But I will keep it on for low temperature before I warm up the tires next time.

I thought I only have to pay attention when the temperature drops to single digit. It seems that I was wrong...

The instructor at the BMW driving course stated that 5 C is when performance summer tires will lose their grip. 14C is rather high.
