What would make anyone chose the 325 over the 330? I noticed a ton of 325 owners who love their cars. Is it only a $$$ thing? Just curious |

It's always a $$$ thing. But the 325i's power is adequate too.

Yes...A lot of people lease their 3 and the 325 leases better than the 330.

with the e90, if you choose a lot of options, the price difference is less pronounced. For that reason, if you can afford a tad more, why not go for 330.

If you are wise with the options, the price difference is not that much. 325i lease prices are better on average though.
Some other points to consider are (and I know a lot of people that fit both scenarios)....
1. Someone may pick a 325i because they can't afford a 330i
2. Someone may pick a 330i simply because they can afford it and it is the "highest" model and don't want to know anything about the 325i

For me it was both - price and lease program advantages. My 325 is optioned out at a 330 price, but the lease program was far more favorable going with a 325. Residual difference on a 36 month program was about 3% higher (325 vs. a 330). So a lease on a $42,000 325 actually made more sense financially than a lease on a $42,000 330.
Not that I wouldn't have liked to go with a 330 - 18" sports pkg rims alone almost made the decision for me!
