So the nav is DVD based - what do I need to do to watch movies in it (yeah, while driving i.e
someone was saying they get 4 tv channels too.....

I think the DVD playback function on iDrive is disabled because it is illegal in the US.

Easy, just replace your windshield with a wide screen TV.
