Sadly . . . it looks like I'm going to have to install the front plate (provided, but not installed, at our Spartanburg VPC delivery).

Wife called today, kinda pis*ed, becasue on Day 2 (count 'em -- TWO) of ownership here in MD, she got pulled over for no front plate. Luckily, the police officer was very nice, and didn't ticket her, but she now wants the plate so she isn't always paranoid. But how I hate to drill that bumper!

So . . . who's done it themselves? Does it align/center itself with tabs? She'll freak if it's off-center. Any chance that 3M heavy duty mounting strips would hold it?
