Worldwide Wood Shortage for BMW

There is a E90/E91 memo in from BMW Canada dated Aug. 24th saying the following:

Any cars with wood trim specified will be put on November production for December delivery, or worse yet unspecified production and delivery.

Seeing as I have a 325xi on order, and I really WANT the burl walnut, I guess I'll have to wait. My car was on September production for Ocotber 31st delivery.

The thing I hate about that is my aluminum trim will just become less and less unique.
